And while I'm on the topic of teenagers...this little girl was about 8 years old when I met her. Now she is 13 (going on 20). I don't visit her orphanage anymore, but I recently heard of a local church doing outreach there, which makes me VERY happy. Oh Lord, bring salvation to these teens!
That makes me very sad because she is so young and yet she is dressed like a girl much older. I don't think she knows what she is getting into. Those guys are obviously going to take advantage of her.
ReplyDeleteI think she was likely dressed up for a performance, but I agree that it is not really age-appropriate. They are all like family in the orphanage, but who knows what goes on behind closed doors. I don't want to make assumptions, but I think they are exposed to a lot that you wouldn't want your own child seeing.
