Fellow missionary bloggers have just received their residency permits. I'm still gathering information about that option. It's encouraging to see someone else have success.

Liz, I do not get you. It seems like your goal is to get a permanent Russian residency... That's fine. Once you got it, then what?
ReplyDeleteI guarantee you, then you will write 5 more posts about: "I got my permanent Russian residency, now what???"
Your goal is to get something that will not answer your ultimate questions or, rather, quest for what you are looking for.
Care to know WHAT you're looking for?
It's all pretty logical. If I get permanent residency, then I can focus on other questions like work, ministry, housing, etc. I'm sure you went through a similar process when you moved to the U.S. Right now I have to keep putting everything on hold because I'm never sure how/when I'm going to get my next visa. I feel like a nomad.
ReplyDeleteI'm not even sure it is the right thing to do. I am just trying to get information in order to make a decision.
Of course there will be other questions later. I don't have my whole life planned out. That's the way life is. You find the answer to one question, and it immediately opens up a bunch of new questions.
