A glimpse


My roommate's mother has been visiting, and I haven't had much opportunity to blog. Not to mention, my computer is at death's door.

There has been a lot going on in the kitchen while Olga Borisovna is around....





She's trying to fatten us up.

    I'm sure they are tasty. What exactly are they? A pastry?

    They are pirozhki, little pies made with yeast dough. They can have all sorts of fillings, but these have cabbage and potato.
