I star...Well, this entry was longer than I thought. I started reading it when you posted and wanted to respond, so I stopped reading. <br /><br />The last time we were in the States, we had to take the carseat with us on the plane to NL. (Normally someone takes it back to the house for us, but this time we had to do a one-way car rental, без car seat) On our next flight to the US, there was an open seat next to us, and D could sit and sleep in his own seat. YES!<br /><br />We just bought a used basic stroller for €11 for traveling/flying purposes only.<br /><br />Less than 2 hrs in Heathrow = terrible. Don't ever do it. Especially with a baby. Unless you mind sprinting. (Which is kind of like the "sprint to catch the marshrutka or metro because you're desperate", only 2 bags more awkward.)<br /><br />Anyway, thanks for the other tips! We will keep them in mind as we travel.
